Refund Policy
This policy explains refunds, subscription cancellations, statutory withdrawal rights, and billing issues relating to CheckHer Premium.
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. General Refund Policy
Except where required by applicable law, payments made for CheckHer Premium are final and non-refundable.
CheckHer does not voluntarily provide refunds, partial refunds, credits, or extensions for subscription periods that have already been purchased or begun.
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or limits any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. Cancellation Is Not a Refund
Cancelling a CheckHer Premium subscription prevents future renewals in accordance with the applicable subscription terms. Cancellation does not, by itself, create a right to a refund for the current billing period.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, Premium access may remain available until the end of the period that has already been paid for.
3. Situations That Normally Do Not Qualify for a Voluntary Refund
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CheckHer does not provide voluntary refunds merely because a user:
- changes their mind after purchasing Premium;
- does not use some or all Premium features;
- uses Premium only for a short period;
- forgets to cancel before a renewal;
- becomes inactive or stops using CheckHer;
- is dissatisfied with a feature where no statutory remedy applies;
- purchases the wrong Premium tier through their own error; or
- no longer wants the subscription after the relevant billing period has begun.
This section does not affect any mandatory statutory rights.
4. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract under German or other applicable consumer protection law. Where such a right applies, CheckHer will respect it in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
For consumers in Germany, the statutory withdrawal period for qualifying distance contracts is generally 14 days, subject to the applicable statutory rules, exceptions, information requirements, and rules concerning the beginning or expiry of that period.
Where a consumer expressly requests that a paid service begin before the withdrawal period has expired, the consumer may, where the statutory requirements are satisfied, be required to pay proportionate compensation for services provided before a valid withdrawal is exercised.
Where applicable law permits a statutory withdrawal right to expire before the ordinary withdrawal period has ended, CheckHer may obtain the legally required express consent, request, acknowledgment, or confirmation from the consumer.
5. Withdrawal Procedure
Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, users may exercise that right using the withdrawal method made available by CheckHer or by another legally valid method.
Where required by applicable law, CheckHer will provide an electronic withdrawal function through the website that allows eligible consumers to submit and confirm a withdrawal declaration.
Additional withdrawal instructions, including any statutory model withdrawal information or form required for the applicable transaction, may be provided during checkout, together with the contract confirmation, or through the relevant legal section of CheckHer.
6. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If a user believes that they were charged more than once for the same transaction or that a billing error occurred, they should contact CheckHer promptly.
CheckHer may investigate the transaction and, where an incorrect or duplicate charge is confirmed, correct or refund the affected charge as appropriate.
7. Defective Digital Services and Mandatory Remedies
Nothing in this policy removes statutory rights relating to defective digital products or digital services.
Where applicable law gives a consumer a mandatory right to rectification, price reduction, termination, reimbursement, damages, or another remedy, those rights remain unaffected by CheckHer's general no-voluntary-refund policy.
8. Suspensions, Bans, and Rule Violations
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, suspension or termination of an account because of a violation of the CheckHer Terms, Community Guidelines, safety rules, or other applicable policies does not automatically entitle the user to a refund or credit.
Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Third-Party Payment Providers
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Additional payment-provider terms may apply to payment processing, chargebacks, transaction handling, or payment methods.
Using a third-party payment provider does not remove any mandatory consumer rights that apply to the contract with CheckHer.
10. Refund Method
Where CheckHer is legally required to issue a refund, the refund will generally be made using the payment method required by applicable law or, where legally permitted, an appropriate alternative agreed with the user.
Processing times may also depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other payment intermediary.
11. Relationship With Other CheckHer Terms
This Refund Policy should be read together with the CheckHer Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Community Guidelines, and any subscription or checkout terms presented when Premium is purchased.
If this policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable consumer law, the mandatory legal provision prevails.
12. Contact
Questions about billing, refunds, or statutory withdrawal rights can be submitted through the contact method provided in the CheckHer Impressum or through the applicable support channel on CheckHer.
Important
CheckHer does not offer voluntary refunds unless CheckHer expressly decides otherwise. This does not affect refunds, withdrawal rights, reimbursement, price reductions, or other remedies that CheckHer is legally required to provide.
